In 2015, the purchase and sale contracts of real estate increased in the Autonomous Region of Madeira
DREM releases today on its website the time series on real estate operations updated with information for 2015. It should be highlighted that from this edition onwards the data breakdown per municipality will be available.
In 2015, the number of contracts of real estate purchase and sale increased by 6.7% compared to the previous year, but the average value of the traded real estates decreased from 73.6 thousand Euros in 2014 to 64.9 thousand Euros in 2015 (-11.8%).
The number of contracts of loan agreements with conventional mortgage rose by 21.4% in 2015. However, the mean value of mortgaged real estates dropped from 194.4 thousand Euros in 2014 to 121.0 thousand Euros in 2015.
In 2015, the mortgage credit granted to singular persons per inhabitant stood at 225 Euros, a 59.8% increase over the previous year.
